Lauren graduated from medical school at the University of Glasgow in 2010. She originally trained to be a GP, but later became a Dermatology Specialty Doctor, supporting this with a Dermatology Diploma from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, before leaving the NHS in 2019.

Lauren has been working in Aesthetics since 2015 and has been involved in training delegates at Facial Aesthetics Courses since 2016. She worked her way up in Facial Aesthetic Courses from assistant trainer through to Director of Education and Development. She has fully rewritten and planned all their courses in 2022, ensuring that the information up to date with the latest evidence. Alongside this, she has implemented a lecturer development plan for the lecturers at Facial Aesthetic Courses, supporting them with their skills and growth within the industry.
 
Together with her Director role in the training academy, Lauren runs her aesthetics clinic in the prestigious and highly regarded private dental clinic, Advanced Dentistry, in Hyndland Glasgow, where patients travel from across Scotland and abroad to have their treatments with her.

She is honoured to have been awarded the 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗔𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 award at the 𝘚𝘤𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘈𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘈𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘴 in 2025, as well as the 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 award for two years running at the 𝘚𝘤𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘈𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘌𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘈𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘴 in 2023 & 2024. She’s also been featured in publications including Hello!, The Daily Express, My Weekly, Medworld, and Push Doctor, and has spoken in front of thousands.
 
She prides herself in providing long appointments to allow her to not only really delve into what her patients’ concerns and desires are, but also to take the time to educate and create a plan together. Her patients frequently remark that their experience when seeing her in clinic is completely different to what they have experienced anywhere else. As a result, she has grown a very loyal client base and is grateful to also have her patients refer her to their friends and family.

Apart from Aesthetics and skincare, Lauren is also interested in nutrition and has completed a diploma in Personal Nutrition in August 2014. She loves being able to incorporate nutritional advice into her work so that clients leave feeling great both inside and out!

Lauren is a bubbly, energetic person who loves being around people. She likes to create an inviting, friendly environment for her clients and trainees, whilst also maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
